About Us
Daphne J. Timmons, PhD is the founder of our team and she brings to you over 30 years of clinical and consulting experience. Dr. Timmons has worked in multiple mental health and organization settings as a psychologist and as a consultant. Her work as a psychologist has been in South Carolina, North Carolina, and as a clinical consultant in Hawaii, Ohio, Georgia and Colorado. Dr. Daphne was a senior consultant with Hewitt Associates and The Hay Group for the Southeastern region of both companies. When working with these organizations she had the opportunity to work with Wachovia Corp., Bank of America, Cingular, Bell South, Forest Express, First Union Bank, CDC Foundation and other companies where she assisted in developing competency models, performance management programs and doing executive selection and coaching. She has been in private practice since 1986 with the exception of five years in 1997 to 2002 when she did HR Consulting.

Her work has been similar to an artist’s “old palette” rich with colors, shapes and layers of new learning building its foundation. Dr. Timmons has developed clinical models of care; she has developed management and leadership models for organizations; she has developed selection processes and competency models for diverse organizations as well as served as a clinical consultant to many states. Her love has been developing programs of care that are simple while addressing complex issues that can be easily taught and learned. Dr. Timmons has appeared in multiple media venues over the years and she has written numerous workbooks to benefit her patients. She is best described by her colleagues as “an inquisitive doer” who approaches each new problem with passion and determination to find a positive solution. As Dr. Timmons is fond of saying, “I have learned more by being a mother” than almost any formal education and being a parent to her son, Brent continues to be one of her biggest loves.
